Hi

I’m a student studying graphic design and photography for my A-levels, I am required to produce a personal study on an artist that I share a particular passion in. My aim is to become a design manager in the construction industry, therefore i noticed a particular talent you posess in photography, especially your architectural photography. I am contacting you in hope that you will be the influence in my photography course. I love the angle and poise of your images and i am hoping i can learn the way in which you manage to capture such unique images. I have listed some questions below for you to answer if you which to. My email address is DanNUFC4eva@hotmail.com

Many thanks
Dan Herron

What is your favourite medium of work?

How has your work evolved?

Do you go out to take photos or are do you take your camera wherever you go?

Who or what has influenced your work?

Can you explain how your education has influenced your work?

Do you plan locations when going out to take photos or carry your camera wherever you go?

How much post production goes into your work?

What software do you prefer to work with?

How long have you been taking photographs?

I have studied your work and I have tried to capture your style in my piece, could you write a few lines for a critique?

Over the next couple of years how do you see your work developing?

Are you noticeably restricted in the software you use or do you find it enhances your work?

In your work I like how you capture the sleek and stylish composition, how do you achieve this?

What life experience affects your work?
What is your main aspect of capturing architectural images?
